In 2 more pounds I will be 20 pounds lighter than my starting weight. Come on 2 pounds! I got this!
Well I didn’t do too well at the end of the week. I missed both Thursday and Friday for working out. But I’m not beating myself up. My son had surgery Friday and it was quite a stressful week. I didn’t eat very well either and was dreading getting on the scale for my end of the week weigh in. But I am pleased to say that I didn’t gain any weight. I am down to 216.5lbs. So another 6.5 and I am at my next goal. I commit to be better next week on my eating. My goal for next week is to have great posture. You know, shoulders back, chest out, and abs tight to support the back. I know crazy goal; but it helps make me look slightly thinner and it is just a good thing to do.
So excited! I am down another three pounds and now have seven to go until my next goal. I am struggling with sweets. I had to give my bag of dark chocolate pomegranate to my brother so they wont be a temptation. So hopefully that will do the trick and I can get back on track.
Week two of minimal processed foods is under way. Weighed in tonight at the gym and found I had only gained a pound back since my Friday weigh in. So happy about that. Since I had cake and ice cream on Mother’s Day. So I ran an extra 10 minutes. By the way I am shocked at how quickly my endurance has built up. It used to be such a struggle to do the 90 second jog. But today I was 2 minute jogs. Then I decided to up it to 3 minute jogs with only a 2 minute break in between. It was a lot harder but I was still able to last the whole 3 minutes. So I feel like today was a good work out. I went and worked on my arms a little. I also did my measurements. I am an inch down on my waist and my thighs. But I am two inches down on my hips. Hooray! But I didn’t notice much difference in my arms or my bust so I am going to dedicate this month to my arms and my upper body. So I guess I will start up on the push ups again. I stopped doing them about two weeks ago. Guess that should be my goal for this week. To do push ups everyday.

(via healthyequalshappy)
Monday 30+ minutes of cardio, arms and core
Tuesday 30+ minutes of cardio, legs and core
Wednesday 40+ minutes of cardio, knee strengthening (for my knee I had surgery on)
Thursday 20+ minutes of cardio, yoga class (my favorite)
Friday 30+ minutes of cardio, arms and core
Saturday 40-60 minutes fast paced walk with different steps (tiptoes, lunges, heel walk, etc.)
Sunday rest
*My cardio is the couch to 5k training. I just do it on the elliptical which is better for my knee and shin splint
When I reach my next goal of losing ten more pounds; I really want a yoga mat. My parents have the best patio but in order to really work out on it I need a yoga mat. This is a great reward for me. I really want my own yoga mat. It is kind of awkward sometimes borrowing the gym’s mats.
